Sine Cura Cyber Support
Protected. Without worry.
Sine Cura Cyber shows you, on your iPhone, whether the Windows PCs in your home are protected, in plain English. A free helper app on each PC reads the status of the built-in Windows Security (Microsoft Defender) and sends it to your phone, so you can see at a glance if protection is on, when a threat was found, and what to do next.

Getting started
- Install the App on your iPhone from the App Store and sign in with Apple or with your email.
- Download the free Windows helper on each family PC from [HELPER DOWNLOAD URL, e.g., https://sinecuracyber.com/download].
- Link the PC to your account by following the on-screen steps in the App [DESCRIBE PAIRING METHOD, e.g., code or QR].
- Allow notifications on your iPhone so we can alert you when something needs attention.
That’s it. The PC will appear in the App with its protection status.
Frequently asked questions
About the app
Is Sine Cura Cyber an antivirus? No. Sine Cura Cyber does not scan for, block, or remove threats. It monitors and reports the status of Windows Security / Microsoft Defender, which is built into Windows. Think of it as a dashboard on your phone for the protection your PCs already have.
Does Sine Cura Cyber guarantee my PCs are safe? No app can promise that. Sine Cura Cyber helps you notice problems (like protection being turned off or a threat being detected) so you can act. Keeping Windows updated, using strong passwords, and backing up important files are still important.
Is this made by Microsoft? No. Sine Cura Cyber is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. Microsoft, Windows, Windows Security, and Microsoft Defender are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.
What do I need? An iPhone running iOS [MINIMUM iOS VERSION] or later, and PCs running Windows [10/11, CONFIRM] with Windows Security / Microsoft Defender available. The PC needs an internet connection to send updates.
Does it work with Mac, Android, or Chromebook? Not right now. Sine Cura Cyber currently supports Windows PCs and the iPhone app.
What if a PC uses a different antivirus (like a third-party product)? When another antivirus is installed, Windows usually turns Microsoft Defender’s real-time protection off and lets the other product take over. Sine Cura Cyber reports what Windows Security shows, which may be limited in that case. [CONFIRM HOW THE APP DISPLAYS THIRD-PARTY AV STATUS.]
Privacy
What information does the helper collect? Only what’s needed to show protection status: the PC’s device name, Windows Security / Microsoft Defender protection status and settings, threat names reported by Defender, and the times they happened.
Does it see my kids’ files, browsing, or messages? No. The helper never collects files, documents, photos, browsing history, messages, keystrokes, or screenshots. It isn’t a parental-control or activity-monitoring tool.
Do you sell my data or show ads? No. We don’t sell your data, and there are no ads.
Where is my data stored? In Google Firebase, which we use as our service provider to store data and send notifications. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Plans and billing
How much does it cost? - Free: monitor 1 PC. - Family plan: monitor up to 10 PCs for $3.99/month or $34.99/year (U.S. prices; may vary by country).
How does the subscription renew? The Family plan is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
How do I cancel? On your iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Sine Cura Cyber → Cancel Subscription. You’ll keep Family features until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the App or your account does not cancel the subscription.
How do I get a refund? Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are requested through Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue App Store refunds directly, but we’re happy to help if you have questions.
I switched phones or reinstalled. How do I restore my plan? Sign in with the same account, then tap Restore Purchases in the App’s settings [CONFIRM LOCATION].
What happens if I go back to the free plan with more than 1 PC? [CONFIRM BEHAVIOR, e.g., “You’ll choose which PC stays active; the others pause until you upgrade again.”]
Troubleshooting
A PC shows as “offline” or hasn’t updated. Make sure the PC is turned on, connected to the internet, and that the helper is running (look for its icon [CONFIRM, e.g., in the system tray]). Restarting the PC usually fixes it. PCs that are asleep or shut down can’t send updates.
I’m not getting notifications. Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Sine Cura Cyber and make sure notifications are allowed. Also check Focus / Do Not Disturb settings. Notifications depend on Apple and Google services and may occasionally be delayed.
The App says protection is off. What should I do? Open Windows Security on that PC (Start → type “Windows Security”) and follow its prompts to turn protection back on. The App’s explanation will tell you which setting is off. If another antivirus is installed, it may be expected.
The App says a threat was detected. Is my PC infected? It means Microsoft Defender found something and usually took action (for example, quarantined it). Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history on that PC to see details and recommended actions. If you’re unsure, consider asking a trusted IT professional.
How do I remove a PC? In the App, open the PC and choose Remove PC [CONFIRM], then uninstall the helper on the PC from Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
Your account
How do I delete my account? In the App, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account [CONFIRM PATH]. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data (PCs, status and threat history, notification tokens) and revokes Sign in with Apple access. It can’t be undone. Remember to cancel any subscription in your Apple ID settings and uninstall the helper from your PCs.
Can I get a copy of my data? Yes, email support@sinecuracyber.com from the address on your account and we’ll help.
I used “Hide My Email” with Sign in with Apple. Can you still reach me? Yes. Apple forwards messages from us to your real address. If you contact support from a different email, tell us so we can find your account.
